There are 7 plans to choose from across 25 countries. Data sizes run from 0.49 GB to 10 GB, validity from 1 to 30 days, and prices start at $6.99. Hotspot sharing is supported on every plan. Top ups are available on some of the fixed data plans and go onto the same eSIM.
Your days start the first time the eSIM connects in the countries covered, not when you buy, so you can install it at home days early. For a week of maps, messaging and social apps, most travellers are fine with 3 to 5 GB. Video calls or streaming need more. Travel data across the countries covered from RoamZivo arrives as a QR code by email, with a copy kept in your account.

Does the eSIM work in every country covered?
It works in each of the countries listed, 25 in all. In each one it connects wherever the partner networks have signal, which are the same networks local customers use. The eSIM is data only.
When do my days start?
On the first connection in the countries covered, not at purchase. The plan selected above (1 GB) runs for 7 days from that moment. You can install the eSIM at home and the clock stays still until you connect.
Do I get a local phone number?
No. The eSIM is data only. Your own SIM stays in for calls and texts, and WhatsApp keeps working over the eSIM data.
Can I share data with my laptop?
Yes. Hotspot sharing is supported on the plan selected above, so your laptop or tablet can use the eSIM data through your phone.
Does the Caribbean eSIM work in Jamaica and the Dominican Republic?
Yes, both Jamaica and the Dominican Republic are on the Caribbean plan's country list. You can use the same eSIM in each. Check the full list on this page for the rest of your route before you buy.
Is there an unlimited Caribbean eSIM?
No, the Caribbean regional plan has no unlimited option. The largest plan is 10 GB valid for 30 days. Several single island pages do offer unlimited plans, which may suit you better if you are staying in one place.
Is the Caribbean plan good for a cruise?
The Caribbean plan suits a cruise if your ports are on its country list. One day plans of 0.49 GB, 1 GB and 5 GB fit single port days, and a 30 day plan covers a whole sailing. It does not work on the ship's network at sea.
When does the plan start if I visit several islands?
The plan starts when the eSIM first connects to a network in any country on the Caribbean list. From then the days run continuously, including days at sea or in places the plan does not cover.
Do I need a new QR code for each island?
No, you install the Caribbean eSIM once and it stays on your phone for the whole trip. When you arrive in the next covered country, the phone connects to a network there. Keep data roaming on for the eSIM line.
Can I use hotspot on the Caribbean plan?
Yes, hotspot is allowed on all Caribbean plans. Shared data comes out of your fixed allowance, so a 1 GB plan will go quickly if a laptop is connected.
Can I top up the Caribbean eSIM during my trip?
Top up is offered on some Caribbean plans, not all. Check the plan card before buying. If your plan does not support it, you would buy a new plan once the data is used.
